This program seeks to train young people on entrepreneurship and support aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their businesses as well as startups to improve their businesses and increase revenue. We target both out of school and in-school youth. We currently work with the Student Representative Council of the Koforidua Technical University, Political Science Students Association of the University of Ghana. This program is supported by internally generated funds of CELDAR Foundation.
Key results include;
- Through our youth entrepreneurship and business development program, we have trained over 600 young people in entrepreneurship including in-school and out of school youth.
- We supported 220 startups to register their businesses. We also provide assistance and advice in business management, project management, product design, and regulatory compliance to these micro entrepreneurs
- We facilitated capacity building in entrepreneurship and business development for over 300 youth in entrepreneurship and business develop in 7 communities in the Asuogyaman and Lower Manya Krobo districts as part of the Bridge in Agriculture Program by Mind Builders Africa with funding from Mastercard Foundation
